RV Service Club, LLC runs this website, rvserviceclub.com, so RV owners around Tampa Bay can learn about our mobile repair work and ask us for service. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the site collects and what we do with it.
The short version: we only collect what we need to answer you and do the work, we do not sell your information, and you can contact us any time to see what we have or to ask us to delete it.
What this policy covers
This policy covers our public website and the request and contact forms on it. It does not cover the members area at community.rvserviceclub.com. That portal is a separate service with its own login and its own privacy policy, so check there if you are a paying member. It also does not cover other companies we link to, such as campground or product websites.
Information we collect
Most of what we hold is information you type into a form and hand to us on purpose. When you request service or send us a message, that usually means your name, phone number, and ZIP code, plus your email address and street address if you choose to add them.
Because we work on RVs, we also ask about the rig itself: the type of RV you have, the problem you are seeing, how soon you need help, and anything you write in the notes. You decide how much to share, but the more you tell us, the better we can prepare for the visit.
When you simply browse the site, our analytics tool records basic technical information on its own, such as the pages you view, the general area your visit comes from, the device and browser you use, and how you found us. This is standard website measurement and is not tied to your name.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to do the obvious things: get back to you, schedule and carry out the repair, send quotes or confirmations, and keep a record of the work. We also use it to answer questions, handle billing where that applies, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it out or hand it over to advertisers.
Cookies and analytics
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technology so pages work properly and so we can see how the site is being used. We keep your information within RV Service Club and the small set of trusted companies that help us run the business, including the services that host our website and store form submissions, the service that delivers our email, and the analytics provider mentioned above. These companies only handle your information to do their job for us.
We may also share information when the law requires it, when we need to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold or reorganized. Outside of those situations, we keep it to ourselves.
How long we keep it
We hold on to your information for as long as we need it to serve you and run the business, and after that for a reasonable period for our records, taxes, and any legal obligations. When we no longer have a reason to keep it, we get rid of it. If you want your information removed sooner, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, correct it if something is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can stop our text messages by replying STOP, and you can limit cookies through your browser. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will take care of it.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults arranging RV repair. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site sometimes links out to other places, such as campgrounds, product pages, or our own members portal. Once you leave rvserviceclub.com, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for how those other sites handle your information. It is worth reading their policies before you share anything.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including limiting who can see it and using established, secure services to store and send it. No website or system is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise perfect protection, but we treat your information the way we would want ours treated.
