A slide that won't move (in or out) can strand your whole trip. We come to your driveway, campsite, or storage lot and get it working again, most jobs the same day. Mobile slide-out repair for Lippert, Schwintek, and Power Gear systems across the Tampa Bay area.
We diagnose the whole system (motor, controller, gears, cables, or hydraulics), repair or replace the failed part, then re-sync and adjust the slide so it runs smooth and sits tight.

Good to know
RV slide-outs, explained.
Never force a stuck slide: here's why
When a slide won't move, the worst thing you can do is keep hitting the switch. Slide motors and gears are strong enough to destroy themselves: a stripped gear, a snapped cable, or a bent rack usually started as a small, cheap problem that got forced. If your slide binds, grinds, or stalls, stop and call. Most of the time it's a dry rack, a weak battery, a controller that lost sync, or a single failed gear, all far cheaper to fix than the damage from forcing it. We carry manual-override tools, so even a fully stuck slide can be brought in without tearing anything up.
Why slides bind, drift, and leak
Slide-outs live a hard life: they carry a whole room's weight on a track, get rained on, and only move a few times a week. Rack-and-pinion and Schwintek in-wall systems drift out of sync when one motor works harder than the other or a gear wears; cable systems stretch; and every system depends on seals that dry out and crack in the sun. Left alone, a small bind becomes a stripped gear and a small seal gap becomes water in your floor. A seasonal look at the gears, sync, and seals keeps a slide from turning into a big repair.
Slide seal care that actually helps
Your slide's wiper and bulb seals are what keep rain and road spray out of the rig, and in the sun they dry, harden, and crack. A little care goes a long way: keep the seals clean, condition them a couple times a year with a rubber-safe protectant (not a petroleum product, which eats rubber), and check that the slide topper isn't pooling water or torn. When seals are past saving, we replace them, far cheaper than the floor and wall repair a slow slide leak causes.

“I was caught in a jam at the KOA campground in St. Petersburg when my air conditioner unit was throwing a faulty code. After calling multiple people, Jared assured me he would be there as soon as possible to help since it was so hot outside. Jared showed up within 20 minutes of the call and had the issue fixed in less than that. He was professional, knowledgeable, and was fair with his pricing!”
