RV inspections, explained.
What a pre-purchase RV inspection actually checks
A used RV can hide thousands of dollars in problems a walk-through will never reveal, so a real inspection goes system by system. We get on the roof and check every seam and penetration; pressure-test the LP system for leaks; run every appliance on both power sources; trace the electrical from shore power to the 12V side; hunt for soft spots in the floor and walls that signal water damage; and check tires, brakes where applicable, and the chassis. Every finding is photographed and rated, so you walk in knowing exactly what you're buying, with the leverage to negotiate or the confidence to sign.
What an RV inspection costs, and what it saves you
A professional inspection is a small fraction of what a single missed problem costs. A hidden roof leak that's already reached the decking, a failing absorption refrigerator, a soft floor from years of water intrusion: any one of those runs into the thousands, and they're exactly what a pre-purchase inspection catches before the money changes hands. For a used-RV buyer it's the cheapest insurance there is. Ask us for current inspection pricing when you book, and if you join the Club, your first inspection is already covered, with two free every year.
The red flags we find most on used RVs
After enough inspections you learn where used rigs hide their expensive problems. The big ones: water damage (soft spots in the floor or walls, and stains that mean a leak has been working for a while); a tired absorption refrigerator that cools poorly and costs four figures to replace; a roof whose sealant is cracked and long overdue, with decking damage underneath; and age-cracked tires or a chassis that's been neglected. None of these show up on a quick walk-through, and any one of them is worth far more than the inspection at the negotiating table. That's the whole point of getting one before you buy.

“I was caught in a jam at the KOA campground in St. Petersburg when my air conditioner unit was throwing a faulty code. After calling multiple people, Jared assured me he would be there as soon as possible to help since it was so hot outside. Jared showed up within 20 minutes of the call and had the issue fixed in less than that. He was professional, knowledgeable, and was fair with his pricing!”
