If your generator's giving you trouble, we'll pinpoint it.
Won't start, surging, shutting down, or no output: we diagnose your onboard generator on-site and tell you straight whether it's a repair we handle or one for a generator specialist.
Won't start
Cranks but won't fire, or nothing at all, fuel, spark, battery, or control faults we diagnose first.
Starts then quits
Fires up and dies, or shuts down under load, often fuel delivery, a clogged filter, or a sensor.
Surging or rough
Hunting, surging, or running rough, commonly a fuel or carburetor issue on a set that's sat unused.
Runs but no power
Engine runs but you get no output, a breaker, winding, or control-board fault we track down.
Shuts down under load
Kicks off when the AC kicks on, a fuel, governor, or overload problem, diagnosed on-site.
Overdue for service
Stored wrong or long overdue, we service the accessible parts and flag anything deeper.
Seeing something that's not on the list? We've almost certainly fixed it before.
We diagnose your generator at your rig (fuel, spark, battery, controls, filters, and output) and handle the accessible repairs on the spot: fuel and filter service, spark plugs, wiring, controls, and routine maintenance.

Straight Talk on Bigger Work
The right fix, even when it's not us.
Engine internals (a rebuild, a major carburetor overhaul, or internal mechanical failure) belong with a dedicated generator specialist, and we'll tell you plainly when you're there. We coordinate the hand-off so you're not left guessing.

Good to know
RV generators, explained.
Most generator problems trace back to sitting unused
The single most common reason an RV generator won't start or runs rough: it sat. Gasoline sets are the worst for it: fuel goes stale in a few months, gums up the carburetor, and clogs the tiny jets that meter fuel, so the set cranks but won't fire or surges when it does. The fix is often just fresh fuel, a filter, and a carburetor clean-up, the accessible work we handle on-site. The prevention is simple: run your generator under load for a bit every month or so, and it'll be there when you need it. If yours has sat for a season, expect fuel-system trouble first.
What we handle, and when we bring in a specialist
We'll always be straight with you about a generator. On-site we diagnose the whole set and handle the accessible repairs (fuel and filter service, spark plugs, batteries, wiring, controls, and output problems), which covers the large majority of “won't start” and “quits under load” calls. What we don't pretend to do at your campsite is a full engine rebuild or major internal mechanical work; that belongs with a dedicated generator shop, and when that's what yours needs, we'll tell you plainly and help coordinate the hand-off. You get an honest diagnosis either way, not a rebuild quote for a problem that was stale fuel.

“I was caught in a jam at the KOA campground in St. Petersburg when my air conditioner unit was throwing a faulty code. After calling multiple people, Jared assured me he would be there as soon as possible to help since it was so hot outside. Jared showed up within 20 minutes of the call and had the issue fixed in less than that. He was professional, knowledgeable, and was fair with his pricing!”
